The checks, the rates and the terms are on the page. Anything else, ask the Desk.
What does membership cost?
Membership fees on application. Three tiers: Kivo Bench for sole directors and firms of up to 9 staff, Kivo Works for 10 to 250 staff, Kivo Board by invitation. The fee and the VAT position are printed beside the tier before you apply.
How do I earn Kivo Points?
By paying invoices from suppliers on the Kivo Register. Each supplier's rate is printed beside their name as KP per £1. There is no monthly allowance and no part of your fee is returned as Points.
What is a Point worth?
One hundred Kivo Points is one pound on your Kivo Card, always. Balances are shown with their conversion: KP 12,400 = £124.00.
Who owns the Points?
Your firm. They are accounted for as a receipt of the trade and load only onto your firm's Kivo Card, never to directors personally. The tax note is on the rates page, subject to a formal tax opinion.
Do Points expire?
Not while your firm is a member. After a membership ends they stay convertible for 90 days, then void (proposed). The rule is printed in the Points terms, under English law.
What is the Kivo Card?
A prepaid multi-currency Mastercard holding GBP, EUR and USD, issued by an FCA-authorised electronic money institution. Apple Pay and Google Pay follow the issuer's certification. Balances are e-money and are not covered by the FSCS. The full fee schedule, including FX, is published on the card fees page before any card is issued.
Can I move Points into airline points?
When the airline agreement is signed. Until then we quote no rate. Points cannot be moved into American Express Membership Rewards; Amex transfers move outward only.
What does “on the Kivo Register” mean?
Nominated by a member who paid their invoice, passed five published checks, and holding a dated Kivo Stamp for the current year. The Register is Kivo's own; it carries no statutory status and the Stamp is not a guarantee of a supplier's work.
What happens if a supplier lets me down?
Ring the Desk. Complaints go to the Register panel. A supplier who slips is struck off and listed as such for 12 months, with the reason stated to members.
How do I reach Kivo?
Ring the Desk, 08:00–20:00, Monday to Friday. A person answers. The number and email are published before launch. Kivo is pronounced KEE-vo.
The conditions, in one paragraph.
Earned only on settled invoices with Stamped suppliers, at the printed rate. KP 100 = £1. Nothing on the fee. Kivo Points are your firm's trading receipt. They are earned at published rates, load only onto your firm's own Kivo Card and are never paid to directors personally. A formal tax opinion is being taken before launch; your accountant can read every line of your Ledger.
Airline points conversion opens when the airline agreement is signed, at the rate printed then. No rate is quoted before that.
